"Beyond School: Nurturing Talents for True Success"

A majority of people believe that they have to go to school in order to become successful in life. Most parents concentrate only on their child’s academic results, and when a child scores low, he is threatened, punished, or even embarrassed in front of others. It is such pressure that makes children consider themselves failures if they do not excel in academic work.

Therefore, though studying is a crucial life feature that teaches the fundamentals such as reading and writing, it is not the only way to gain success. School education can be a helpful side direction that a person can choose as an auxiliary option to occupy his or her time while being focused on the main interest. For instance, sports, arts, music, or business talents call for practice, and practicing is not always possible during and after school hours.

Let me describe a boy for you who is fond of football and practices for hours. His life will not be as great as it could have been if his parents only make him study and deny his talent. He might never achieve greatness. On the other hand, if he manages to balance the hours spent in class with the practice of football, he is capable of achieving marvelous things in his line of work.

It should also be noted that the number of successful people who never oriented themselves around education in the classic meaning of this concept is immense. Even the world’s famous cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, who is renowned today by dint of his passion for cricket, did not have a good academic background. Steve Jobs, a great man who changed the world and was the chairman of Apple, was a college dropout. Walt Disney dropped out of high school in order to build one of the most prominent entertainment corporations.

Every child has a unique talent, and parents and teachers who work with children need to keep this in mind. Some children are interested in schooling, and for such children, school may be the right choice. Others may have talents in athletics, music, writing, painting, dancing, innovation, or any other area. They should be allowed to do what they enjoy most, along with getting a basic education. Success is not only about school grades; it’s about finding your talent, working hard, and following your dreams. When children are supported in all their passions, they grow up happier and more confident. Education is important, but it should not limit a child’s potential. Let’s allow children to explore their abilities and achieve success in ways that make them truly happy.
